Esther Loopstra
is a Seattle-based painter, writer, and curator. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, her work explores the living structures that support us on a biological and energetic level. She integrates texture, collage, and poetry into her pieces, revealing the abstract essences of these worlds and blurring the lines between our human internal systems and the systems of nature around us. Her work takes the viewer on a passage, revealing these networks from the vantage point of a landscape you could navigate and engage with.
Esther has over a decade of teaching experience at Kent State University, Cornish College of the Arts, and Pacific Lutheran University. In addition to her art practice, she works as a creative coach, curator, and co-hosts the Flow Into Authenticity podcast.
